Through this ten-week experience offered each fall and winter, you’ll find a welcoming place to practice the rhythms essential to a healthy spiritual life and build a strong foundation for lasting community.

What is ROOTED?

ROOTED is a journey that takes place over ten consecutive weeks and is designed to help you grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus and build lasting connections with others. Through guided conversations, biblical exploration, weekly readings, and practical experiences, you’ll discover how Scripture, prayer, worship, generosity, and service shape everyday life with Christ.

Who is ROOTED for?

ROOTED is for anyone who wants to take the next step in their faith and connection. Whether you’re new to following Jesus or have walked with Him for years, you’ll find a welcoming place to ask questions, build relationships, and discover your purpose in God’s great story.
How does ROOTED connect to small groups?

ROOTED is designed to be a first step toward joining a small group at Berean. Over ten consecutive weeks, you’ll build relationships, share life with others, and grow together in your faith. Because ROOTED groups begin with a shared commitment and experience, many groups naturally continue as ongoing small groups after the ten weeks are complete.
Can my current small group go through ROOTED together?

Absolutely! Current small groups are welcome to experience ROOTED together. Facilitators are required to attend a training before the session begins. Because the ideal group size is 10–12 people, we may encourage larger groups to form multiple groups or smaller groups to invite others in to create the best experience.
What is the commitment?

ROOTED takes place over ten consecutive weeks, and each gathering builds on the one before. We ask participants to commit to attending every session. If you know you’ll miss more than two sessions, we encourage you to join a future ROOTED session when you can fully engage in the experience.
How are groups formed?

Our team prayerfully places participants into groups of about 10–12 people based on age, marital status, and life stage. Groups may include married couples, singles, women, men, or young adults, depending on registration. While we do our best to honor requests, we cannot guarantee your requests to be placed with specific friends or facilitators.
Can I bring my kids?

Yes! Kids’ programming is offered through BK Plus for children ages 12 months through fifth grade during all ten ROOTED sessions for a fee. Dinner is not provided for kids, but a light snack will be available.
Is there a cost?

The cost is $25 per person and includes all sessions, your workbook, related materials, and the celebration dinner at the end of the 10-week journey. Kids’ programming is available through BK Plus for an additional $100 per family for children ages 12 months through fifth grade.
Are scholarships available?

We don’t want finances to limit your involvement in ROOTED. Scholarships are available for those who need assistance. Please contact Stephanie Buckland for more information.
How do I register?

Registration is simple! When registration opens, click the “Join ROOTED” button on this page and follow the steps to sign up.
When will I receive my materials?

You’ll receive your workbook at the first meeting. Your facilitator will provide your materials and help you get started.
