Join the Berean Family
God designed His church to be a family where we know and care for one another as we grow in our faith. Membership is a commitment to that church family and to sharing in the life and mission God has given us.
At Berean, we follow Jesus together as we make and multiply disciples for the glory of God.
Why Membership Matters
Church membership is a covenant relationship with God and one another. It gives us a clear way to commit to a local church and take responsibility for one another as we follow Jesus together.
Grow Together
We encourage one another in our faith, stay rooted in God’s Word, and help each other become more like Jesus.

Care for the Church
God has given each of us a part to play in His church. As members, we use our gifts to serve, strengthen, and care for one another.

Commit to One Another
Membership creates a shared commitment between the church, its members, and its leaders. We encourage one another toward faithfulness while our pastors and elders shepherd and care for the church.

How to Become a Member
Our Membership Class is a two-part experience offered quarterly and is the first step toward becoming a member at Berean.
1. Sign Up for a Membership Class
Learn more about Berean’s mission and beliefs, how our church is led, and what membership looks like at Berean. You’ll have time to ask questions and learn more about the commitment you’re making.
2. Share Your Faith Story
Meet with a pastor or elder to share how you came to faith in Jesus and talk about your desire to become a member of Berean.
3. Become a Member
Once the Elder Board votes to affirm your membership, you’ll be welcomed as a member of Berean, deepening your commitment to our church family and the mission of the church.
Faith and Baptism
Membership begins with faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and agreement with Berean’s core beliefs. You can learn more about what we believe before signing up for the Membership Class.
Baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus and an important step of obedience for every believer. If you haven’t been baptized as a believer, we’d love to help you learn more and take that step.
