The Berean Foundation supports local and global mission opportunities beyond the scope of Berean’s regular ministry fund. Through investment, legacy, and estate giving, you can help sustain this work and support the people carrying it forward.

One Mission.
Four Ways to Make a Gospel Impact.

The Foundation’s giving follows the same four pillars that guide Berean’s mission work. Together, these priorities keep our focus on helping people know Jesus, strengthening His church, and serving others in His name.

  • Pillar 1: Global Missions

    Many people have little opportunity to hear about Jesus or know someone who follows Him. The Foundation prioritizes efforts to reach these communities, from the Twin Cities to the Middle East and North Africa.

    Giving can help train future missionaries and church planters, support local outreach, and provide mission trip scholarships that allow more people to serve and consider a longer-term calling to missions.

    Global Missions includes the following activities:
    • Partnering with global mission organizations
    • Funding career missionaries
    • Funding preparatory and training costs of missionaries
    • Funding short-term missions tied to long term missionaries and partners
    • Focused on unreached and least reached peoples abroad

  • Pillar 2: Church Planting and Strengthening

    Local churches are essential to making and multiplying disciples. The Foundation supports work that helps new churches begin and existing churches grow stronger.

    Giving can support church planting through ministries such as The Timothy Initiative, along with pastoral training, marriage mentorship, and the discipleship of local leaders. It can also help sustain global partners who equip others to lead and serve their churches.

    Church Planting includes the following activities:
    • Focused on global church planting
    • Includes continued support of church plants

  • Pillar 3: Bible Translation

    Knowing God through His Word should not depend on where someone lives or the language they speak. The Foundation supports efforts to translate Scripture and make it available in communities where access is limited.

    Giving can help fund translation projects, Bible distribution, and the work of global partners serving with Bible translation ministries.

    Bible Translation includes the following activities:
    • Focused on Bible translation and distribution in a global context.

  • Pillar 4: Compassionate Justice and Mercy

    Following Jesus calls us to care for people facing hardship and injustice. The Foundation supports ministries that meet practical needs while helping people experience Christ’s love and receive ongoing spiritual care.

    Giving can support refugee housing, care for vulnerable children and families, adoption assistance, and the work of partners such as Venture and Compassion International.

    Justice & Mercy Ministries includes the following activities:
    • Partnering with sex trafficking rescue and comprehensive humanity rescue organizations
    • Adoption support:
    • Pre-adoption, during adoption & post-adoption.
    • Support for youth attending Gospel related activities (e.g. camps, etc).
    • Family sheltering
    • Education – scholarships and financial aid.

Give to the Berean Foundation

Equip Someone to Share Jesus

$4,000 can cover seven weeks of training at the Steiger Missions School, equipping teams to reach people who may never walk into a church.

Train a Future Church Planter

$300 per month can support the training of a future church planter through The Timothy Initiative, helping prepare a leader to make disciples and establish a local church.

Help Make Scripture Accessible

$26,000 can fund a full year of Bible translation efforts in Eastern Africa, helping more people access God’s Word in a language they understand.
